- Notes: This subject being the first introduction to financial accounting deals mainly with the accounting principles and techniques of recording in the books of. It is recognized that many students will have little or no prior knowledge of accounting and accordingly, the initial sessions introduce basic terminology and techniques, and develop confidence in their application. Throughout the course students will be expected to synthesize basic principle accounting towards the intrepretation.
